He is survived by: his father David Petersen; his wife Donna Contreras; his children, April Petersen (Shealtiel Israel), Liberty Contreras, Ember Contreras of Elkhorn, JD Petersen (Tessa) and Colten Contreras; and his sister Brenda Burfine. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
