He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Ellsworth (Hamarik); and his brother Richard. He is survived by: his father Kenneth Lynn; his brother William Ellsworth (Doreen); his sister-in-law Sandy Ellsworth; his nieces, Heather Kindberg (Scott), Samantha Ellsworth and Taylor Ellsworth; his nephew Brandon Ellsworth; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Benjamin, Seth, Gabriel, Grace and Harper. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

“Despite being a very private person, I was fortunate to spend a lot of time with John over the past twenty years. John's guitars and amplifiers were his children. Every day he was able to,he would play guitar. Our favorite activity over the years was going on guitar safari's to area music stores and guitar shows. John was also very meticulous about his work and the pride he took in always doing the job right. He was a wonderful soul with a big heart. Until we meet again buddy !!! Your pal, Bob- O”
