She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Sittler and Bernadine Sittler (Kocher); her husband Norman; and her siblings, Pat Vanderwiel, Red Sittler, Bud Sittler and Arthur.

She is survived by: her children, Dale Brummel (Cheryl) of Burlington, WI, Sue Boyle (Rick) of Milwaukee, WI, Rodger Brummel (Julie), Dr. Gary Brummel (Roberta), V. M. of Lebanon, PA and Sam Brummel (Jessica) of Darien, WI.; her grandchildren, TJ, Savanna, Samantha, Maximilian, Mitchell, Roman, Cyrus and Marcella; and her sisters, Dolly (Robert), Florance, Sis (David), Lois (Wayne) and Kathy (Dudley).

In lieu of flowers, memorial in Jean's name may be directed to St. Patricks Catholic Church, 107 W. Walworth St. Elkhorn, or the Elkhorn Food Pantry, 14 W. Geneva St. Elkhorn.
