She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Halverson and Rose Halverson; her grandson Zachary Schmit; her siblings, Sally Meudt (Leo), Clara Kessler (Ray), Eileen Quigley (Frannie), Dorothy Biddick (Charles), Dallas Halverson (Norma), Harley Halverson and Bernell Halverson; and her brother-in-law Gene Wolenec.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Schmit and Steven Schmit (Darlene); her grandson Jerad Schmit (Amber Guthman); her great grandchild Mylliana Schmit; her sister Marlys Wolenec; and her nephew John Wolenec.
