He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Sawtelle and Gerald Sawtelle Sr.; his brother Gerald Sawtelle Jr.; and his niece Karla Sawtelle. He is survived by: his siblings, Georgia Ramthun (Mark), Geff Sawtelle (Debbie), Greg Sawtelle (Brenda) and Gretchen Smith (Ben); his nieces and nephews, Jenny Nabb (Brian), Stacy Sawtelle Vohra (Rais), Heather Gohlke (Tyler), Gerald Sawtelle III and Jake Sawtelle; his sisters-in-law, Karbet Sawtelle and Sue Kitzman; his friend Dennis Brewer; and his pets, Stella and Daisy.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Haase-Lockwood and Associates Funeral Home and Crematory (730 N Wisconsin St, Elkhorn, WI 53121).
