She was predeceased by: her parents, John Erickson and Hulda Erickson (Westerholm); her husband Jacob T. Hoffman; and her sister Mildred Fleischacker. She is survived by: her children, Lee Ann Soble (David), Bill Hoffman (Catherine), Susan Breit (Dennis), Nadine Harris (Michael), Wendy Kolton, Shirley Hoffman and David Hoffman (Davida). She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
