It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard J. Cornell (Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin), born in Green Bay, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 26, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Namesion Cornell and Lillian Cornell (Daul); and his sisters, Judy Dodson and Patricia Syverud. He is survived by: his former wives, Mary Vogels and Mary Cornell (Vogels) of Tucson; his children, Cathy Cornell (Paul Knitter) of Madison, WI, Michael Cornell (Brenda) of Hartland, WI, Peter Cornell (Wonda) of Zumbrota, MN, Anne Marshall (Mark Kirby) of Three Lakes, WI, Susan Cornell De (Douglas) and Jon Cornell of Savage, MN.; his wife Joan Brisbin; and his brother Tom Cornell (Sarah). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial funds are being established in Dick's name for Meals on Wheels of Sheboygan County, Cedar Bay Assisted Living in Elkhart Lake, St. John the Baptist Catholic School, and Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice Center in Sheboygan Falls.
