He is survived by: his wife Donna Hephner; his daughters, Jennifer, Amy Van Ess (Travis) and Holly Phalin; his grandchildren, Austyn Mendez, Lily Mendez (Josh Justinger), Chloe Kopec (Damian), Marcel Mendez, Mariah Van Ess, Grant Van Ess and Carter Gabrielse; his great grandchildren, Esme and Elena; and his siblings, Kim Phalin (Celeste), Kevin Phalin (Ann), Gerriann Porter (Larry), Maureen Lueck (Mike) and Gale Graefe (Tom). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
