It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jess J. Gunther of Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, born in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 2, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Uhlir and Florence Uhlir; her husband John Gunther; her son-in-law Robert J. Harley; and her stepdaughter Amy Allen.
She is survived by: her former husband Joseph Willinger; her daughters, Kristine Harley, Connie Steinhardt (Michael), Dr. Barbara Karls (Thomas) and Katie Willinger; her stepdaughter Beth Rybakowicz (Mark); her son-in-law Michael Allen; her grandchildren, Jessica, Eliza (Dave Curtis), Chelsea Harley, Lindsey Bortz (Nathan), Alexia Rebne (Eric), Lucas Karls (Janelle Hilbelink), Molly Essner (Taylor) and Jake Rybakowicz; her great grandchildren, Brady, Avery Bortz, Gunnar Rebne, Dylan and Josephine Harley-Curtis; and her friend Marie José Vander Sandt.
Memorial donations may be made to the Kiel Public Library in her name.
