It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Allan Gumieny of Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, born in Muskego, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 23, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Gumieny and Marie Gumieny (Brzezinski); his son-in-law Bob Kraus; his great grandchild Owen Abler; and his siblings-in-law, Joan Diaz and Jerry Napientek.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Napientek; his children, Steve Gumieny (Dee), Jeff Gumieny (Lisa), Mike Gumieny (Judy), Judy Kraus and Ted Gumieny (Amy); his grandchildren, Cory, Jessica, Ross, Austin, Casey, Lindsay, Clinton, Chad, Brian, Andy, Jack, Gavin and Sophia; and his siblings-in-law, John Napientek (Marsha), Dale Diaz, Jackie Ioder (Nick), Janice Schmidt (Al) and Peggy Napientek. He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in David's name.
