He was predeceased by: his son Michael; his great great grandchild Savannah; and his brothers, John (Pat), Francis (Virginia) and David.

He is survived by: his wife Norma; his sons, Dan (Lynda) of Elk Mound, Tom (Linda) of Elk Mound, Richard (Dawn) of Elk Mound and Joe of Elk Mound; his sister Marian Erickson of Oroville, CA; and his sister-in-law Claudine Uetz of Rockford, IL. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter.
