It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shane Eady of Elk Mound, Wisconsin, born in Rice Lake, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 1, 2021, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Eady and Marie Eady (Larson); his brothers, Drew Eady and Richard Eady; his nephew David Charles LaPointe; and his brothers-in-law, Larry Brovold and Jeffrey Schnabel.

He is survived by: his sisters, Denise Brovold of Eau Claire, Diane Eady of Eau Claire and Charlene Eady of Eau Claire; his sister-in-law Sandy Eady; his girlfriend Diane Mickelson; his girlfriend's children, Amanda Shiver, Eric Barden, Jason Barden and Shane; his nieces, Annette Parks, Catherine Eady, Crystal Hovland (Scott) and Amanda Rodriguez (Chris); his great-nephews, Cody Kurtzwweil, Tyler LaPointe, Cameron Hoyt, Karson Rodriguez, Jeremy Hoyt and Kaleb Rodriguez; and his great-niece McKenna Hoyt.

“I am so sad to hear of Shane-bob's (my nickname for him) passing, my deepest condolences to his girlfriend and his family. I have worked with Shane at Red Dog, and helped him a few times working on tires. I'll never forget the day I first met him when I went to their shop at the mine year 1989.”
