He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Nelson and Bette Nelson (Paff); and his wife Jean. He is survived by: his former wife Jeannie Flick; his son Doug Nelson of Eleva, WI; his grandchildren, Cody and Haley; and his siblings, Mark Nelson (Linda) of New Auburn, WI and Judi Harper (John) of Chippewa Falls, WI.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
