He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Richard and Joyce Austin Richard (Swanson); his siblings, Jerry, Craig and Kim; his former wife Grace Austin (Dryden); and his great grandchild Amelia.
He is survived by: his wife Jackie; his children, Bradey Austin (Valerie), Barrey Austin (Deanna), Bobbie Ryskoski (Mark), Kerry Bjorklund (Paul), Keith Dryden (Tracey) and Kelly Weier; his siblings, Tom Austin (Kathy), Deb Dickinson, Pam Miller, Diane Moy (Steve) and Cathy Smith; and his sister-in-law Arlene Volz. He is also survived by 15 loving grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
