He is survived by: his wife Yvonne of Eleva; his children, Paula Richter (Scott) of Milwaukee, Cal Everson (Shari) of Strum, Karla Haas (Ron) of Foster, Jim Hazelton of Eau Claire, Steph Karlstad (Dale) of Osseo, Shane Hazelton of Strum, Stacie Felton (Aaron) of Eau Claire, Shannon Russell (Chris) of Cambridge and Joel Hazelton (Misty) of Valparaiso, IN; his siblings, Dave Everson (Lonnie) of Eleva and Eldora Odegard of Mondovi; his stepsiblings, Sharon Koesterman of Chippewa Falls and Donald Peterson of Eau Claire; and his brothers-in-law, Vernon Mercer of Eleva and Merle Urness of Mondovi. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
