He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Hanson and Irma Hanson (Pederson); his parents-in-law, Mabel and Gus Kinderman; his brother Manuel Jr. Hanson (Babe); and his siblings-in-law, Marj Hanson, Ken Kinderman, Don Kinderman, Allen Kinderman and Leigh Knudtson.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Kinderman; his grandchildren, Zach, Kari Schneider (Matt), Annie Thomas (Joe), Amanda Christiansen (Jack), Alisha Staads (Ben), Natalie Hanson (Cole) and Zachary Hanson; his great grandchildren, Sylvia, Gregory, Frances Schneider, Logan, Camryn, Jack, Reese Thomas, Colin, Owen, Evan Staads and Lucas Erickson; his sister June Knudtson; and his siblings-in-law, Jerry Kinderman (Peggy), Jim Kinderman (Cheri) and Donna Johnson (Gary). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, friends.
