He was predeceased by: his parents, Spencer Skogstad and Nada Rue Skogstad (Bristow); his brother James Skogstad; and his brother-in-law Bob Brenner. He is survived by: his wife Jane Halama; his sons, Jason and Chad of Eleva; his grandchildren, Mariah Skogstad of Menomonie, Joe Lorentz of Madison and Adam Lorentz (Nicole) of Holmen; his great grandchildren, Weston, Carson and Jackson Lorentz; and his sister Jackie Brenner of Mondovi.
