It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Richard Matchey of Eleva, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 7, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Matchey and Gladys Matchey (Knudtson); his brother George; his sister-in-law Mavis Matchey; and his niece Deanna Matchey.

He is survived by: his wife Judy McBride; his children, Donna VanDenAvond (Todd), Cheryl Rue (Ken) and Kirk Matchey (Nancy); his grandchildren, Callie Stoutland (Joey), Garrett Rue (Vanessa), Zachary Rue (Johanna), Brett VanDenAvond, Jenna VanDenAvond, Marissa Matchey and Alex Matchey; his great grandchildren, Emmett, Jack Stoutland, Piper Rue and Fritz Rue; his niece Nancy Sherren (Tom); his nephews, Wayne and Ron Matchey (Linda); and his siblings-in-law, Lynn Norheim (Daneen) and Patricia McBride. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, and friends.
