He was predeceased by: his parents, James Riggs and Edith Pettengill Riggs; his in-laws, George and Nathaleen; and his siblings, James, Gordon, Robert, Don, Roger, Ronnie, Jean, Kathryn, Anita, Alice and Helen.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley A. Ott; his children, Timothy (Kelley) of Markesan, Tracy (Cheryl) of Ripon, Troy (Cynthia) of Fond du Lac and Mindy of Eldorado; his grandchildren, Robert "RJ" Rabe (Lisa), Danielle Rickmeyer (Bobby), Alexis Riggs and Nicholas Riggs; his great grandchild Reid Rickmeyer; his stepgrandchildren, Jake Miller (Carissa), Jessica Miller and Erica Radloff; and his sisters-in-law, Betty Madison and Janice Ott. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was a member of Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, liked to bowl and enjoyed playing cards.
