He was predeceased by: his parents, William Aloysius and Mildred Anna Balmes Jacobs; his wife JoAnn Cummings; his siblings, William and Mildred England; his grandchildren, Paul Stanley Jacobs and Ashley Chabrecek; and his sons-in-law, Ronald Trzebiatowski, David Kline, Harvey Earsley, William Hatch, Joseph Chabrecek and Anthony Brown.
He is survived by: his children, Jean Trzebiatowski of Wausau, Mary Ann Kline (Dana Heintz) of Marshfield, Barbara Fonder (Larry) of Antigo, Rose Earsley of Crane, MO, Laura Hatch of Libertyville, IL, Donna Chabrecek of Crane, MO, Kate Riggleman (Brad) of Charles Town, WV, Mildred Hitt (Clinton) of Beaver Dam, Lisa Brown of San Antonio, JoAnn Godwin of Middleton, Linda Gantz (John) of Green Bay, Peter Jacobs of Rhinelander, John Jacobs (Barb) of Kenosha and Joe Jacobs (Amy) of Elcho. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
