She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Sr. Diestler and Evelyn Diestler (Slater); her siblings, Louis 'Louie Diestler and Wyonne Roth; her brothers-in-law, Norman Roth, Gerald Olilla, Forest 'Woody Brooks and Raymond Brooks; and her parents-in-law, Benjamin and Stella Brooks.
She is survived by: her son Roger Sr.; her husband Marlin; her grandchildren, Tricia Anklam (Mark), Waylon Brooks (Renee) and Roger Jr. Brooks (Sarah); her great grandchildren, Madison, Hailey, Carson, Clayton, Roger III, Rosaline and Ryan; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Collin, Aubrey, Trista and Markus; her siblings, Bonnie Butterworth, Rose Olilla, Sharon Olilla (Clyde), Harold "Butch" Jr. Diestler (Diane) and Bernard "Bernie" Diestler (Marilyn); and her sisters-in-law, Suzanne Diestler and Doris Boline. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Kay Odele Brooks, 87, went to her Heavenly home, peacefully wrapped in God's loving arms and surrounded by her family, on Tuesday, August 17th, 2021, as a result of end stage Alzheimer's.
