He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Schlotthauer and Emma Schlotthauer (Larose); his daughter Jacqueline Sheehan; and his brothers, Steve and Tom Schlotthauer.

He is survived by: his wife Sharon Hensler; his daughters, Deanna Eckardt of Weston and Kelly Miller (Rick) of Turnerville, WY; his grandchildren, Stephanie Rampart, Brittany Sheehan, Shannon and Dustin Miller; his great grandchildren, Roman Rampart, Chaystyn Miller and Tanner Clark; his sons, Michael Roma and Tim Harmon; and his close friend Lloyd Pingel.
