He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Schraeder and Gertrude Schraeder (Zophie); his brothers, LeRoy and Kenneth (Eileen); and his granddaughter Samantha Jo Schraeder.

He is survived by: his wife Eileen Bruner; his children, Janiece Schelvan (Kim), Orville (Kathy Reese), Michael Schraeder (Anna), Janet Chojnacki (Mark) and Timothy Schraeder (Erin); his grandchildren, Jason Schelvan, Alyssa Schwoerer (Trevor), Logan Schraeder, Lukas Schraeder, Alexandria Schraeder, Jordyn Schraeder, Hollyann Morales (Daniel), Megan Chojnacki and Sarah Chojnacki; his great grandchildren, Bryant, Carter Schwoerer and Julian Morales; his siblings, Arnold Schraeder (Beverly), Maryann Hildebrandt (Eldon) and Gerald Schraeder (Jan); and his sister-in-law Jean Huser.
