He was predeceased by: his father Herbert Schachtschneider; his sister Susan; his parents-in-law, George and Phyllis Galbrecht; his son-in-law Dan Chapman; and his grandmother Mabel Schachtschneider.

He is survived by: his mother Mary Schachtschneider (Simon) of Edgerton; his wife Pamela Schachtschneider of Edgerton, WI; his children, Rebecca Chapman (Rick Potts) of McFarland, WI, Jessica Reilly (Joe) of Stoughton, WI and Michael Schachtschneider of Edgerton; his grandson Jacob Kienbaum (Kellie); his great grandchildren, Avery "Rosebud" and Colton Kienbaum; his siblings, Steve Schachtschneider (Linda) of North Carolina and Patti Gullickson (Jim) of Edgerton; and his siblings-in-law, Brian Galbrecht (Carol) and Cheryl Hart (Brent) of Big Bend, WI. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in Terry's name at a later date.
