He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Kersten and Lillian Kersten (Hackbarth); his wife Donna; and his siblings, Esther, Charles, Robert, Earl and Clair Kersten.
He is survived by: his children, Carol LaBelle and Scott Kersten (Karen) of Edgerton; his grandchildren, Paul Kersten and Cassandra LaBelle; his great grandchildren, Damian, Paige and Guage; and his brother Don Kersten (Julie) of Edgerton. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
