He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruno Steponkus and Rosemary Steponkus (Svoboda); his in-laws, George and Berneice Dombek; his sister Sandy; his sister-in-law Jeanne; and his nephews, Greg and Doug.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Dombek of Lyndon Station; his children, Kathy O'Neal (Dan), Becky Kron, Jeremy Steponkus (Hollie) and Mary Steponkus; his grandchildren, Connor, Erin O'Neal, Brianna, Megan, Chloe Kron, Nicholas and Cameron Steponkus; his brother-in-law Tom; his niece Jessica McLain; and his siblings-in-law, Jerry and Cheryl Dombek. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery (590 S St Joseph's Cir, Edgerton, WI 53534).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Ron's memory to Edgerton Outreach Building of Hope.
