He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene "Gene" and Mary Pakes (Grant). He is survived by: his wife Karen S. Gessert; his children, Jennifer Krebsbach (Chris) of Blaine, MN, Bob Pakes Jr. of Beloit and Joe Pakes (Rachel) of Janesville; his grandchildren, Sophie, Nolan, Emmett and Violet; his sister Diane Weins (Jim) of Milton; and his nephews, Brian Weins (Raegen) and Eric Weins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, American Cancer Society or Agrace HospiceCare.
