He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Hoff and Alice Hoff (Simonson); and his siblings, Nancy Nelson, James Hoff, Carolyn Hendrickson, Delaine Hoff and Earl "Junior" Hoff.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Hoff; his children, Tony Hoff (Elaine), Tracey Hoff (Cathy) and Stephanie Balis (Marc); his granddaughters, Melissa Gilmour (Tim), Hannah Hoff (Michael Karr) and Mary Hoff; his great grandchild Isabella Gilmour (Felipe Castaneda); his siblings, Michael Hoff and Charlotte Epstein; and his aunt Dorothy Johnson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial in Richard's name will be established at a later date.
