He is survived by: his wife Sally Merkel; his sons, Ted W., Prairie, Chien, Bill J. (Christine), Milton and Tom A. (Nancy); his grandchildren, Derek Carrier (Dora) and Kyle Carrier (Caprice); his great grandchildren, Dominic, Dahlia, Della, Leo, Eli and Ari Carrier; his stepgrandchildren, Luke, Noah Brenden, Joshua Orlopp (Mallory) and Tanya Orlopp-Strickland (Mark); and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Cayden, Ethan, Jonathan, Harper and Marnie. He is also survived by in-laws and many nieces, nephews and friends.
