He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Rusch and Juanita Rusch (Peck); his parents-in-law, Maurice and Beatrice Sanborn; his brother-in-law Russell Sanborn; and his son-in-law Scott Dobratz.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Sanborn of Year's Eve; his children, Amy, Brent (Amy Beth) and Troy (Maureen); his grandchildren, Ashley Stephenson (Ricky), Tyler Dobratz (Chelsea), Brian Rusch, Shannon Rusch, Amber Clift (Matt) and Jordan Fanning (Chrissy); his great grandchildren, Ava, Weston, Cooper, Collins, Hudson, Monroe, Palmer and Eloise; his siblings, Betty Jo Wurth, Bill Rusch (Teresa) and Richard Rusch (Judy); and his sister-in-law Diane Young (Terry). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
