We bid farewell to Lynn K. Skau of Edgerton, Wisconsin, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 13, 2025 at the age of 78. Lynn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid adieu to Lynn's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Lynn has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward A. Kures Jr. and Alice A. Kures (Behounek); and her husband William D. "Bill" Skau. She is survived by: her children, Eric Skau (Renee) of Edgerton and Kristen Simpson (Steve) of Verona; her grandchildren, Easton and Annika Simpson; and her siblings, Edward Kures, III (Peggy) of Janesville, Mary Kulchar (Charles Carpenter) of Bradenton, FL and Doug Kures (Sarah) of Prairie du Sac. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Apfel-Ehlert Funeral Home (315 Lord St, Edgerton, WI 53534). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Apfel Ehlert Funeral Home (315 Lord St, Edgerton, WI 53534).
