He was predeceased by: his parents, George Abbott and Lois Abbott (Steblin); and his brothers, Steve, Darrell and George Abbott.
He is survived by: his wife Virgene A. Schoon; his children, Rebecca Fridstrom of McHenry, IL and Lonn Abbott Jr. of Edgerton; and his grandsons, John Fridstrom, David Fridstrom and Robert Hardin. He is also survived by other extended family and friends.
