He was predeceased by: his parents, Alan Zalud and Dorothy Zalud (Finn); his daughter Taylor Zalud; and his siblings, Barbara Krone and Jack Zalud.

He is survived by: his siblings, Dawn Zalud of Crystal Lake, IL and Alan "Lanny" Zalud (Mary) of Fort Myers, FL. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.
