She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Sowatzki and Bertha Sowatzki (Sveom); her husband Lawrence H. "Larry" Litza; and her brothers, Orville, Ernest and John Sowatzki.

She is survived by: her daughter Sharon Schmidt (John) of Janesville; and her sister Lois Roen of Beloit. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
