It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald L. Gilbert (Edgerton, Wisconsin), born in Rio, Wisconsin, who passed away on May 17, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Laurance Gilbert and Dorothy Gilbert (Swenson); his wives, Audrey Gilbert and Judith Gilbert; and his siblings, James Gilbert and Marion Natvig (late Wendall).
He is survived by: his children, Beverly Bussey of Edgerton, Bonnie Thompson (Bill Davis) of Beloit, WI, Bradley Gilbert of Mt. Horeb, WI and Barbara Gorniak (Dominic) of Johnson Creek, WI; his stepchildren, Kurt Hoffman (Kathy), Keith Hoffman and Holly Fox (Daryl); his grandchildren, Thomas Bussey (Carlos Ramirez), Laura Kaker (Ben), Brandy Young (Matt), Lance Thompson, Shyanne Siefkas (Nick), Ben Gilbert, Tanner Gilbert (Katie), Nicole Beavers (Nick) and Dominic Gorniak Jr.; his great grandchildren, Owen, Dylan Kaker, Lincoln, Josephine, Wesley Beavers, Kaylynn Galbercht, Franklin Young and Macy Young; his stepgrandchildren, Eric Leah (Cindy Hoffman), Joel Hoffman (Jessica Ratino), Paige Hoffman, Brett Hoffman, Ryan Fox (Kate Ludwig), Kelly Fox (Andrew Byrnes), Christian Fox (Erin Kautz), Ethan Fox (Ellen Converse), Nolan Fox, Sylvia Fox and Vincent Fox; his stepgreat-grandson Elliot Hoffman; his brother Robert Gilbert (late Frenda); and his sister-in-law Nancy Gilbert (late James). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
