He was predeceased by: his uncle John Mathison; and his siblings, Ralph, Elwood, William, Ruth Lintvedt, Gladys Wileman (Fred Wileman), Anna Ylvisaker and Esther Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Lucille Lien; his children, Michael (Jeanne), Lori, Sara and Lisa Venden (Roger); his grandchildren, Tyler (Emily), Hal (Nicole), Emily, Luke (Sheila), Sam, Tom (Nina), Beau (Jen), Josh (Nikki) and Jake (Dawn); his great grandchildren, Leif, Neil, Kloee, Kalin, Hunter, Anders, Dominik and Milana; his sister Florence Scott; and his parents-in-law, Franklin Lien (Beverly), Carolyn Lien, Stanley Lien and Donna Punsel (Tom).
In lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Edgerton Hospital Healing Garden or the Jensen Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund.
