He was predeceased by: his parents, Thorfinn Olson and Jean Olson (Sorenson); and his nephew Michael Kurtis Olson. He is survived by: his daughter Kyha Buell (Ronald) of Phelps, WI; his grandsons, Cody and Austin; his brothers, Guy Olson (Margaret) of Atlantic Beach, FL, Gregg Olson (Christie) of Janesville and Kurt Olson (Sharon) of Cottage Grove; his nephew David; and his nieces, Donna and Janine.
