He was predeceased by: his uncles, Mark Showers, David Soczka and Elmer "Root" Bornheimer. He is survived by: his parents, John Soczka and Irene Soczka (Werner); his brother Andy of Edgar; his godparents, David and Suzanne Werner of Marathon; and his pet Trax. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, special cousins, friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting memorials in Scott's name for a charity to be determined.
