We are sad to announce that on February 20, 2024, at the age of 101, Norma Elizabeth Socha of Edgar, Wisconsin, born in Marathon, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Bingen and Magdeline Bingen (Schlagenhaft); her husband Leo Socha, Jr. of Mary's Catholic Church; her daughter Tamara Stankowski; and her siblings, Leander Bingen, Rev. Norbert Bingen, Helen Thull and Margaret Shidell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Van (Jack) of Eloy and Kathy Treu (Steve) of Sparta; her grandchildren, Craig Walters (Lynn) of Pickerel, Jeff Walters (Shelly) of Neenah, Paul Dahlke (Robin Langhoff) of Edgar, Kelly Dahlke (Eric Cabanski) of Weston and Kristin Kruzan (Kraig) of Wausau; her great grandchildren, Tyler Walters, Alexa Olson, Brooks Walters, Alex Boehlen, Carly Walters, Peyton, Preston Dahlke, Carter Dahlke-Haroldson, Carlee Dahlke, Carsyn Cabanski, Keegan, Kyler and Kensi Kruzan; her great great grandchildren, Colden and Asa Olson; her stepgrandchildren, Jim Treu (Crystal), Monica Olbert (Pat) of Sparta, Celia and Roman Olbert; her son-in-law David Stankowski of Stevens Point; and also, Thomas, Hannah Treu and Saint. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions will be donated to St. John's Catholic Church in memory of Norma.
