She was predeceased by: her parents, George Hoernke and Anita Hoernke (Wehrman); her grandson Tyler; her brother Terry; and her siblings-in-law, Esther Schmirler, Emily Martyn, Elmer, Isaac and Edward Martyn.

She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" Martyn; her sons, Randy (Sara), William (Tammy), Robert (Tammy) and Perry (Peggy); her siblings, Alan Hoernke (Joyce) and Lori Wilhelm; and her sisters-in-law, Evelyn Christensen, Sandy Martyn and Lorraine Martyn. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Peace Lutheran Church (114323 Huckleberry Rd, Edgar, WI 54426). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
