She was predeceased by: her parents, John Stange and Erma Stange (Jacobi); her husband James Jay Durkee Sr.; her in-laws, Don Durkee and Balance Sandoval (Douville); her brother-in-law David Durkee (Mary); her extended family, Clarence Wendtland (Darlene), Michael Wendtland and Richard Wendtland; her foster son Peter Skidmore; and her nephew-in-law Boyd Parker.
She is survived by: her children, James Durkee Jr. (Dorinda) and Ronda Durkee (Bryan Kramp); her siblings, John Stange (Jessie), Kenneth Stange (Mary), Clara Robl and Dorothy Fons (John); her niece Susie Wickman; her goddaughter Marion Parker (Durkee); her friend Lloyd Schultz (Mary); and her cousin Carol Birkholtz. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
