It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dale John Masanz of Edgar, Wisconsin, born in Marshfield, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 9, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Masanz and Ethel Masanz; his parents-in-law, Anthony and Cecilia Diers; and his siblings-in-law, Elizabeth Wolf (Diers), Judy Masanz, Ronald Diers and George Wisnewski.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Anthony, Grace, Ian and Elizabeth; his wife Elmira Diers; his children, John Masanz (Trish) and Jill Schmitz (Scott); his siblings, Marlyn Masanz (Judy), Allen Masanz (Jeanette), Ron Masanz (Karen) and Kris Merkes (DuWayne); and his sisters-in-law, Eleanor Wisnewski and Mary Jo Diers. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
We are mindful of the on-going challenges coronavirus is presenting and are advising family and friends that FACE MASKS WILL BE REQUIRED for the visitation and funeral. Social distancing procedures will also be in place and the church is only able to accommodate 25% of their maximum capacity.
