He is survived by: his wife Carolynn Schlagel (Tichy); and his children, Janette Partenheimer (Daniel), Travis Schlagel (Regina), Matthew Schlagel (Susan), Andrew Schlagel (Angela) and Adam Schlagel (Kayla).
