He was predeceased by: his parents, William Rose and Marie Rose (Grahl); his daughter-in-law Peggy Rose; his granddaughter Sandi Rose-Lowe; and his siblings-in-law, Arthur "Doc" Mielke, John Thelen, Don Bohlman, Lawrence "Larry" Bohlman, Norbert Baumhardt, Darlene Mielke (Dode), Loretta Bohlman and Vivian Plummer.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanette (Bohlman); his close friends, Clarence and Ginny Boyke; his children, Gloria Olson (Randy Lowe), Jim Rose (Mary), Gary Rose, Dan Rose (Shirley), Dale Rose and Steve Rose (Charlene); his brother Victor Rose (Jean); and his siblings-in-law, Bob Plummer, Joyce Baumhardt, Barbara Thelen and Dorothy Bohlman. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
