It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John H. Baier (Eau Galle, Wisconsin), who passed away on January 26, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Baier and Olivia Baier (Wallerick); his children, Steven and Mary Lou; and his siblings, George, Donald, William, Bernice O'Connell, Dorothy Miller and Rita Poeschel.
He is survived by: his spouses, Barbara LaPean and Christine Zignego (Biesterveld); his children, Rodney (Carole Jean) of Eau Galle, Charles (Kristine) of Eau Galle, Lorie Luepke (Jim) of Downing, Bobbie Jo Baier of Menomonie, Susan Scheel (Mike) of Oshkosh and Jim Mork (Fonda) of Boyceville; his sister Sharon Smith of Arkansaw; his sister-in-law Marlene Sabelko of Elmwood; and his stepchildren, Bruce Zignego (Bobbi) of Elmwood, Amy Togerson (Tod) of Eau Claire and Brian Zignego of Yorktown Heights, NY. He is also survived by his parents and he worked hard to build the farm into a wonderful family business, Baier Creek Farms Inc., and he was proud that his two sons and two grandsons.
