She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Postl and Theresa Postl (Yakish); her husband Leon Marek; and her grandson Brian Marek. She is survived by: her children, Gerald Marek (Karen) and Ann Statz (James); her grandchildren, Andrew Marek, Katherine Marek, Laura O'Connell (Aaron), Paul Statz (Abbie) and Kevin Statz (Erika); her great grandchildren, Jerry Alan Marek, Madison Martin, Colin Statz, Emily O'Connell, Zachary O'Connell and Magnolia Statz; her great great grandchildren, Violet and Patrick Marek; and her godchildren, Bonita Kunsman, Bonnie Delray and Candyce Saurer. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (1712 Highland Ave, Eau Claire, WI 54701). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to Eau Claire Catholic Charities.
