She was predeceased by: her son Daniel; her parents, Marcella Pettis and Everett Pettis; her sister Bernadette Walker; and her siblings-in-law, Lynn Walker and Karin Pettis.
She is survived by: her husband Patrick Rooney of Heckel's Big Steer Restaurant; her daughters, Michele Anderson and Monica Bauer (Robert); her grandchildren, Ben Anderson Sr. (Jackie), Cory Bauer (Amber) and Kyle Bauer (Anna); her great grandchildren, Ben Anderson Jr., Carter Loken, Dawson Bauer, Harper and Briggs Bauer; and her brothers, Gary Pettis (Dianne), Tom Pettis and Bob Pettis (Sally). She is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
A prayer was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 4:45 PM at the Hulke Family Funeral Home (3209 Rudolph Rd, Eau Claire, WI 54701). Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (416 N Dewey St, Eau Claire, WI 54703). A committal service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Sacred Heart Cemetery (2015 Omaha St, Eau Claire, WI 54703).
