With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roman Joseph Fritz Jr. of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 6, 2020 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roman J. Fritz and Mary L. Fritz (Robinson); and his former wife Yvonne M. Wangen. He is survived by: his wife Diane R. Schulz (Matz); his children, Mike (Sharon), Tim Fritz (Roxanne) of Eau Claire and Anne Drake (Howard) of Fountain Hills, AZ; his grandson Daniel Fritz (Kasey); his great grandchild Hannah Fritz of Medford, MA; his stepchildren, Dan Schulz of Eau Claire and Angela Bickelhaupt (Joe) of Bartlett, IL; and his siblings-in-law, Warren Wangen, Bill Matz, Roger Bauer, Sandra Johnson (Tom), Jean Albrecht (George) and Debbie Green. He is also survived by grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Trinity Lutheran Church Food Pantry and the Family Promise of Chippewa Valley both of Eau Claire.
