It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roger Simar in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 10, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard H Simar and Ethel Irene Simar (Soaper); and his sister-in-law Susan Simar. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Simar; his siblings, Jerry Simar (Susan) and Michael Simar (Sandy); his in-laws, Orlin Lerdahl (Irene), George Lerdahl (Carol), Richard Lerdahl (Vicky), Gene Lerdahl (Lorri), Cathy Lerdahl and Cindy Wedlund; and his children, Debra Hunter, Renee Hedin (Marty), Melaney Simar (David Riggs), Betty Britts (Maurice), Susan Bothman, Gary Walczak, Michael Walczak (Melissa) and Lori Judkins (Jason). He is also survived by 23 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Stokes, Prock & Mundt Funeral Chapel (535 S Hillcrest Pkwy, Altoona, WI 54720). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
