He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Wheeler and Emelia Wheeler (Brettingen); his wife Norma; his son Daniel; his brothers, Manley Wheeler and Wallace "Wally" Wheeler; his sister-in-law Jean Wheeler; and his sisters, Luella and Ethel Skrogstad.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Marvel Wheeler of Lakeville, MN; and his nieces and nephews, Kent Wheeler (Wally) of Eau Claire, Amy Benedict of Eau Claire, Paula Sparling of Apple Valley, MN, Mike Wheeler of Chippewa Falls, Marsha Betz of Deephaven, MN, Michelle Herman of Devils Lake, ND, Merri Johnson of Shoreview, MN and Mark Wheeler of Warrenburg.
The family suggests any memorials be made to Saving Grace Lutheran Church.
